“I blamed my mama at one point,” he admits. “But watching her struggle? That lit the fire in me.” As her only child, the pressure to rise from the pain became his responsibility—and his motivation.

But his inspiration doesn’t stop there. TJ's music is deeply rooted in grief and loyalty. After losing his two closest friends, Hundo and Zilla, he made a vow: no retreat, no surrender. That motto became more than just a phrase—it became a brand, a mission, and a lifestyle.

“The biggest challenge was prison,” he says. “You can never really be ready for it. But I used that time to grow, to develop myself, and to sharpen my craft.” Through the pain and isolation, TJ found clarity. He turned confinement into creativity and transformed tragedy into triumph.

Now back home, OneReal TJ isn’t just focused on the music—he’s focused on movement. His ultimate goal? To end gun violence, build up his city, and bring opportunities in business and entertainment back where they belong. “We all we got. We all we need,” he reminds us.
